hello everyone!!

I'm sure that my avid readers missed me in the last few days.. and if you haven't.. then shame on you :( Ahahahahaha.. funny how i can almost believe that.. the power of wishful thinking, i swear!!

Well.. let me see what i have to share with you today.. as you all already know, i'm unemployed (until Jan. 16th.. woohoooo!!) and living at home with my parents.. which, as you can all tell.. is super duper exciting! :) Today, i went out for breakfast with a friend of mine.. who is also currently out of a job.. so we were one of those women that look like they do nothing all day but go out and eat with friends.. after spending the entire morning at the gym.. right now we're 1 for 2 :)

Other than that, i spent some time chatting with some friends online.. here is a tidbit of my last conversation with d.. (aforementioned best friend in nyc..).. Just to give you some background.. she's getting her passport renewed so as to travel to mexico.. and it's taking way longer than it should.. so after doing some research.. we figured out that she could come here with other documentation that her parents need to send her from Lebanon.. real conversation below:

n: 72 hours is perfect.. because lebanon is way ahead of you.. so that means you could even have it by monday!
d: are you sure that that is possible?
n: it's dhl.. of course it's possible.. those things go in planes
d: yeah but it's lebanon
n: so what? it's still dhl.. they have guarantees..
d: yes well i better get it or else i will cry till i die
n: wow.. how nice is that?
d: and you know i could
n: till you die.. i don't know.. but you can definitely cry your ass off.. if there was a competition for it.. you might win..
