shattered dreams..
Let me start this off by saying boooooohoooooooo!! :( Today was a traumatizing day for me.. i am sure that some of you out there will be able to empathize.. as you can see from my previous posts, i am a Colts fan.. i love the team.. and i absolutely love Peyton Manning.. they play smart football.. most of the time.. which explains how they have gone undefeated so far.. that is.. until today.. i won't get into the nitty gritty details.. but suffice it to say.. that even though i used to live in san diego (some more info. on me).. there isn't a worse team that the colts could have lost to.. Not that San Diego isn't a great team.. they are.. but it's a personal mannings vs. san diego thing that goes back a few years.. And i said i wasn't going to get into the nitty-gritty.. but to end the football part of this post on a positive note.. the Colts are in the playoffs.. they have home-field advantage.. and if it took this loss today to ensure a trip to the Superbowl.. then so be it!! :)
Other than that.. i actually had a pretty good weekend.. i chilled out on friday night.. and then on Saturday, i went to a really good friend's going-away party.. he will be moving to Belgium for work.. and even though the "couples" seemed to be overwhelming the "singles".. we eventually took over.. they left pretty early.. probably had better things to do.. ahahahaha.. while the rest of us hung out.. had indecent conversations.. and basically got to know each other just a little bit more.. (think nice / decent thoughts!!) :P
So, that was my weekend.. oh yeah.. i also went to watch The Chronicles of Narnia with two of my friends tonight.. and for whoever hasn't seen it yet.. it's FANTASTIC!! I keep reading reviews where it's compared to the Lord of the Rings and all that.. but seriously.. i loved lord of the rings.. but this one.. i don't know.. i thought it had more to it.. you leave the theatre feeling good.. positive.. hopeful.. how many movies do that these days?? I would definitely place this movie as one of my top 3 of 2005..
Ok kids.. i'm off to bed.. it's almost 1:00 am here.. and even though i have no reason to wake up early and nothing to do once i do roll out of bed.. i still like to pretend that i am on some sort of schedule.. smart or sad.. you tell me..
goodnight and keeping those Colts Superbowl dreams alive!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
