oh wow...

so it's been since wednesday that i haven't posted anything?? wow, wow.. wow.. that's a record, i think.. but i have reasons.. i promise.. not any that i will get into now, because as you already know, my way of dealing with stress is pretending it doesn't exist.. i just mature more every year :)

anyways, i had a great weekend.. one of my former best friends from college came into town (well, san diego.. close enough) for a job interview.. so i went down on friday night and hung out with her and caught up on old times.. realizing how much we've both changed.. and then again, how we really haven't... i drove back on saturday afternoon and was surprised by southern comfort wanting to hang out.. he had a baby boy's birthday party in the daytime.. ok.. not baby.. but he just turned 2.. so that's closer to baby than anything else :) anyway.. so he called me and though i wasn't thinking i'd see him till sunday.. we hung out.. and it was fun.. it always is with him.. even if we do absolutely nothing, we have a good time.. which is going to make my upcoming "talk" all the weirder.. wish me luck.. on that and my upcoming ins petition.. i swear, my life is a soap opera.. for someone that tries to keep drama out (well, in most parts of my life at least).. this is really not part of my "plan".. but here we are..

today i met up with an ex-roomie for brunch.. and that was fun as well.. it's weird to think that in a few weeks, i'll be blogging from mexico.. for who knows how long.. i will keep my fingers crossed and believe that things will work out.. only because they should.. but you really never know.. i am doing this by the book.. i am taking the legal route.. i just hope that it doesn't all blow up in my face..
