one more try..
i have started and stopped writing something here for the past few days.. it's not because i don't have anything to say.. but more because there's just TOO much to say.. and then comes the question of how much do i keep to myself.. and how much do i share.. so tonight, i'll share.. just a little bit..
southern comfort and i finally had our talk.. it was the one talk that i have been avoiding ever since i knew that i would have to have it.. you'd think that by this age (29) i would have figured out how to have these conversations.. but you'd be wrong in this case.. i have no clue.. so my strategy is avoidance at all costs.. the thing is.. i'm leaving in 10 days.. this dance has already gone on too long..
we tried to talk about it last night.. but i decided to have another drink instead.. he tried to get some clarification.. but i just couldn't give it to him.. i guess i didn't want to.. but today.. we spoke.. and we're both on the same page.. i swear, for someone younger, he's just more mature than i am.. and yes everyone.. i know he might be reading this.. but there's no censorship here and i'll take the risk :)
so now it's just up to the INS.. let's see what they have to say for themselves.. i'll know by july 11th or july 12th.. so you can imagine how i won't really be breathing till then.. the worst thing is not knowing.. and right now.. even though my lawyer tells me this is a "strong case".. it doesn't mean anything till i see it in black and white.. "approved".. a lot of things are dependent on that one word.. southern comfort.. my job.. my apartment.. my peeps and life in LA.. basically.. everything..
i need to get to bed soon.. so i need to end this on a less taxing topic.. the world cup! my teams are doing well.. (that's england the czech republic).. and this weekend.. there are some exciting matches coming up.. i'll definitely be watching the italy - usa match on saturday.. not sure who i'm cheering for yet since i generally go for the underdog.. and in this case, that's the USA.. but Italy is Italy.. and well, i guess they will have enough people cheering for them.. both at home and abroad.. so i'll take the underdog.. they need this win if they want to stay in the game.. so go USA!!

oh oh.. the italian strikes!! ciao alex! :) i didn't do anything.. and in reality.. i just wanted a good game.. my actual teams are the czech republic and england.. so we'll see what happens thursday!
