so what happened to Halloween??

ok.. so for anyone that's been out this past weekend.. you know what i'm referring to.. i know this is not new.. at least not in the states.. but seriously.. halloween is just an excuse for girls to dress like complete and total ho-bags.. even this med school party we went to.. you know.. the future doctors of the world.. here's some of what we saw:
dirty cop (aka slutty / stripper-looking)
dirty firefighter
pamela anderson
paris hilton
roller girls

there were so many more.. but i think that my brain refuses to process any more than the ones mentioned above.. best part.. the cop and firefighter weren't getting as much attention as they wanted to be getting.. so they staged a fight.. you know.. it's all the right kind of attention! :P

so basically here's my vow.. i will never ever ever dress up for halloween.. unless it's a real costume and the purpose is to really be unrecognizable.. not to wear the least you can possibly wear.. because.. hey... it's halloween!

other than that.. the weekend was fun.. nothing too crazy.. just hung out with a friend that came down from san fran.. met her bf for the first time.. and he's a great gyu.. i want to work where he works.. true.. he works his ass off.. but you know.. at least he's challenged.. which, it seems.. is kind of important to me.. :P

hmm.. let me see.. anything else?? i went to see babel last night.. with southern comfort.. he didn't really like it.. but i totally did.. it's just a bunch of different stories.. that seem so seperate.. but in the end, are totaly connected.. i personally like stories like that.. :)

so yeah.. that's it.. this week is looking pretty quiet so far.. it's sc's sister's birthday this weekend.. so that should definitely include some partying.. and up until then.. i just have the gym.. yeah.. i've been going.. crazy, no?? i went 4 times last week.. and am going today to meet with a trainer.. i hope that we have a similar outlook on what needs to be done to whip me into shape... fun fun fun.. can you tell how excited i am?? yeah.. feel it baby!!

ok.. so that's it from me.. i'm off to the gym in about an hour.. and then i can't wait to watch the bachelor!!! i swear.. that show is awesome (because those girls are seriously unbelievable) .. and i want to watch heroes as well.. because that's one of my new favorite shows.. but i can watch it online during the week.. you see, that's how i keep busy during the week.. ahahahahahaha :)

still alive!!

hiiiiiiiiii.. did you miss me?? don't worry, you don't need to answer that.. let me live with the answer in my mind.. and of course, it's a resounding YES!!

things have been good here.. work is work.. i spoke to my boss last week about my actual position here as well as a pay increase.. let's see what comes out of those two topics.. i will wait till jan/feb to see what happens.. that's when this case will be over.. i've mentioned the lawsuit in the past, haven't i? well, if i have or if i haven't.. it will hopefully all come to a close in jan/feb.. and then we can all move forward..

other than that.. life is going.. the roomie left for location last week.. so now i have the place alllllll to myself.. in some ways that's great and fun.. but in other ways it's kind of boring.. like, i was watching the bachelor last night.. and it just wasn't the same without her!!

things with southern comfort are going well.. we've been talking more these days.. and with me.. well, that means a lot.. i have an endless amount of questions.. and he seems to always answer them.. so points for him on that.. last week i met his boss and his wife.. and some other people.. and they were all really nice.. very republican.. and conservative.. but you know, it's all good.. just as long as no politics are discussed, it's a-ok..

other than that.. alex.. the italian himself seems to have been in the states last week or the week before.. i'm not sure as to when he was here.. because he didn't tell me he was here till yesterday.. now that he's back in london he tells me he was here.. should that bother me?? i don't know.. he said he didn't want to bring my # with him when he came.. because he knows my life is with sc now.. who knows what that means.. for me a phone call is just that.. a phone call.. nothing more.. nothing less.. i haven't seen alex in 5 years.. and if you're reading this.. you should have called.. as a friend.. i'm just saying..

so that's the update on that.. the past is never just that, i guess.. my brain's been working overtime this week.. i need it to stop.. ahahahahahaa.. so, in order to do that.. i've joined a gym.. that should keep my thoughts occupied for an hour or so a day.. i'm excited about starting.. i turn 30 in a bit less than 6 months and i want to look the best i have looked in a long time.. that's the plan.. and that's the goal.. let's see how i do.. :)

readers.. hellooooooooo everyone.. it's almost the weekend.. and i CANNOT wait.. i have oktoberfest tomorrow night.. that should be super fun.. and then maybe karaoke on saturday night and ending it all with a fun sunday chilling out and watching movies.. it's going to be great.. even if was doing nothing it would be great :)

october..

readers.. wherever you are.. whenever you read.. we're almost at our 1000 views mark.. this is the goal of the year.. and i think we're totally going to hit it!!! :)

how's everyone been?? i've obviously been a total slacker and haven't really been writing much in here.. but i think that it has to do with being a girlfriend.. yup.. i said it again.. and i'll just keep saying it.. because well, it's just new to me!! :) anyway.. i've been having the best time in the last few weeks and even months.. actually ever since i got back here.. southern comfort just gets better every time.. i don't know how that happens.. but he's great.. really.. i am not going to just keep talking about him here.. though i kind of want to.. but i'll spare you the details.. there is a funny story though that i think you'll all enjoy :)

on friday night.. we decided to go to knotts scary farm.. for those of you that don't know what it is.. it's like an amusement park that's normally called knotts berry farm.. but during the month of october, they decorate the park and basically make it super scary.. with haunted mazes.. and ghosts and goblins all throughout the park.. (more on those later!).. so southern comfort went with me, though this isn't really his thing (one more BIG plus!).. we get there.. park the car.. and start making our way to the park.. from the street, you could see all the fog, it was awesome.. so he's telling me something and we're walking by this fence.. and on the other side is the park.. he couldn't even finish his story because he kept looking at the fence thinking that something or someone was going to pop out of it and scare the cr*p out of him.. now, of course that had me laughing hysterically.. if you could have seen his face, you would have laughed as well!! so i thought to myself.. oh my god.. i cannot wait to get into the park.. the joke was on me though.. read on.. :)

we get in.. decide to go on a ride.. wait on the line.. get on.. and then decide that we need a map so that we'll know where we're going and which mazes are where (i wanted to go into the asylum, it got really good reviews).. so we're walking back towards the entrance since that's where the maps are.. and seriously.. remember those ghosts and goblins i mentioned above.. the ones that are basically all over the park?? it's people dressed up.. but little did i know, that they also have a job in scaring people.. i had NO idea about that.. so i'm walking.. minding my own business.. talking to southern comfort.. and boom out of nowhere, this THING pops up in my face and screams.. i almost died.. you have NO idea.. i am pretty sure i screamed and then i jumped behind southern comfort.. nice girl that i am.. but seriously people.. my knees got super weak and i really thought i was going to faint.. how much would he have laughed then??

speaking of.. i don't think that i have ever seen southern comfort laugh so much.. i guess i talked all the talk before getting into the park and then acted like a total girl when i got scared.. ahahahahahhaa.. i also think it was pretty funny.. but here's the best part.. after that.. i became suspicious of everything and everyone.. seriously, kids would walk past me.. and if they got too close, i would jump.. how sad is that?? ahahahahahaha.. wow.. so yeah.. a super fun friday night..
so that was friday.. saturday night, i hung out with my friend nancy in the daytime.. and then ended up going to the airport with her and the roomie to pick up someone and then take him out for dinner.. since it was in sc's neighborhood, kind of.. he picked me up.. and we went back to my place to watch a movie.. not a great movie.. but whatever, super chill out..

and yesterday.. sunday.. we ended up going out for drinks at night.. 2 for 1 people.. i don't know how i made it through.. i ordered a frozen margarita.. and ended up having two.. because, well.. that's what the waitress brought.. and i'm not one to waste anything.. :)

so, that was the weekend.. this week is looking pretty slow.. i CANNOT wait for the weekend though.. we're going to oktoberfest on friday night.. karaoke on saturday night.. and chilling out on sunday.. it's going to be greattttt!!! i cannot wait..

oh yeah.. before i end this.. i got a call from alex the other day.. the italian himself.. he says he has things to tell me and that he was going to call me back.. it's been a week now, so since i know he reads this.. what is it?? my guess is that he's getting married.. any takers?? :)
