Oh my goodness.. D's online.. she's got a blog.. she thinks that cameras should follow her around.. worst part is.. i TOTALLY agree.. she's a SUPER freak.. ahahahahah.. anyway.. don't take my word for it.. you can read her craziness right HERE.. and don't say i didn't warn you.. she's very much out there.. and with "d".. well.. it's no-holds barred.. so.. for the faint-hearted or easily offended.. stay away.. the rest.. you will definitely enjoy it :)

Didn't that just sound like a promo?? Yeah.. that's why i'm in marketing.. ahahahahaha.. other than that though.. let's see.. last night i watched Requiem for a Dream.. and yeah.. my brother warned me.. he said "nounou, don't watch it.. you'll get traumatized".. and i listened to him.. for about 2 years.. and then last night.. it was right in front of me.. and my roomate and i thought.. what the hell.. it's a movie about drugs and how they mess you up.. how disturbing could it be??? Oh wow.. let me just say.. that i am at this very moment traumatized and horrified and grossed out.. it wasn't at all what i was expecting.. and i really believe they need to make this mandatory viewing for high school kids.. if that doesn't stop you from going down that path.. well.. nothing will.. So.. the brofo was right.. as usual.. i'm still feeling kind of nauseous from it.. and for anyone that's seen it.. are you as horrified as i am??

So yeah.. i can't get it out of my head.. and i'm pretty sure that it's stuck there forever.. but well.. i brought it on myself.. oh yeah.. another website.. here's some more trauma for everyone.. but this is the good kind.. i promise.. i got this link in an email yesterday.. and for all the readers in the US, this totally could and will come in handy.. it's basically a website called Family Watchdog, where you input your address.. and it tells you with names, addresses and photos about all the sexual offenders living in your area.. it's a bit hardcore.. but for those of you that have kids.. well, i think that it's worth checking out.. here's the link..

Readers!! Hey everyone.. hope that your weekend was amazing and that you did whatever it is you wanted to do.. and well, it's monday morning.. i won't talk too much about that, because really.. what is there to say?? I think that we should have a survey on what the worst day / time of the week is.. would it be sunday night or monday morning.. because honestly.. even though Grey's is on Sunday nights.. how horrible is that feeling that you know.. when you go to bed.. you'll wake up to start a whole new week... ewww.. but yeah.. i said i wouldn't talk about it.. and here i am :P

So.. as you know, on friday i went to the bill maher show.. you can link through here.. and i have to say that i have seen better shows.. of course it was great to be there.. being a part of the audience.. seeing how a show is really taped.. since i've never done that either.. so that part was cool.. he is shorter than i thought he was.. and his guests.. well, i wasn't that impressed.. i mean.. danny glover was on.. and he was basically speaking on a topic that wasn't really on the panel.. at least that's how i felt.. gary hart was there as well.. he was super smart.. and another guest whose name i can't remember.. anyway.. i'm not a fan.. she just kept re-iterating the following "i'm one of the good muslims".. so here's what i say to that.. i mean.. seriously.. doesn't that just sound super wrong to say?? By saying that, she's basically saying the rest of her "peeps" are bad.. what's up with that? So yeah.. not a fan at all.. she's funny.. she's smart.. but that was just a dumb move.. i mean.. she's only on that show because of the fact that she is meant to be representing that whole side.. so, i'll say it again.. she just didn't do it for me..

Other than that.. well, ok.. i'm just going to say this.. because again, this is my blog and i can say all the stupidities in the world.. so, here's what it is.. i feel like Bill Maher is doing one of two things.. either he's trying to increase his viewership by become less liberal.. or he's trying to get better guests on his show and in doing so is toning down the whole liberal feel of the show.. so whether option 1 or 2.. he's moving towards the middle.. does anyone else feel that way?? I mean.. he basically shushed (making up a word here!) the audience like 4 times during taping.. and you know.. we are his fan base.. so what's that all about? I hope that he goes back to what he's good at.. because the road he's going down right now.. well, he'll lose a lot more viewers than anything else.. and this is the best part.. what he's doing right now is exactly what he's been accusing the democratic party of doing in the last few elections.. so Bill.. go back to your roots!! :) (again, i pretend that he's reading this.. how sad is that!)

So, yeah.. that's that.. last night i went out on a date.. it was fun.. we went to the bel air hotel's bar for drinks.. and the place was super nice.. i mean.. i felt like i was in a movie.. and the guy on the piano.. looked so depressed that everytime i'd look at him.. i'd think that HE was the piano man in billy joel's song.. ahahahahahaha.. sad and funny.. oh well :)

But if there's anything more to say on that.. you'll know.. for now it was a fun date.. nothing more.. nothing less.. he's a cool guy.. smart.. funny.. so he's got two of the most important elements going for him.. well.. it's still monday morning.. so back to work for me :)

pinky and the brain

Ok.. i know i know.. yesterday's blog was a bit different, but whatever.. i go with the mood.. so that's what happened there.. notice that i actually got some comments though?? Ouffff!! That's a big deal readers.. and not only that, i'm over the 200 mark!! It seems just like yesterday that we all celebrated over 100 profile views.. and here we are.. over 200.. ok, if i can get this to over 1000 by the end of the year, that'll be AMAZING!! :) So.. all of you people reading this.. thanks.. i hope that you keep coming back :)

Now.. on to the title.. "d" and i were talking last night.. and realized that after 20 years of being bbf.. (and no, not a typo.. ahahahahah.. for us foreigners, we confused things and turned it into BBF.. best big friend.. sad, but totally true!!) Anyway.. so we came to the conclusion that she is pinky and i'm the brain.. i assume that most of you know what i'm talking about here.. and no, i do not plan on taking over the world.. well, at least i won't admit to that just yet.. and she's well.. just the way she is.. ahahahahah :) Not to say that she's as clueless as Pinky.. because if she was, well, we wouldn't still be best friends.. but she likes to pretend to not know.. does that make sense.. and sometimes, she comes up with stuff.. just for the sake of it.. case and point.. last night while speaking on the phone she tells me a whole story about how her mom asked her about her roomate's mom and how she was doing.. now, some background.. the brother and sister that live with "d" lost their mother over 10 years ago.. obviously this is not something to joke about.. but "d" has been great friends with one of her roomies for over 15 years.. so her mom very well knows the story about the roomies' mom.. so i go to her.. did she really ask that?? That's so sad (that she forgot, i meant).. and "d".. goes.. no.. i just wanted to tell you that so that you could think my mom was stupid.. ahahahahahahahahah.. i mean.. honestly.. who comes up with this stuff?? And then we laughed about it for like 20 minutes.. because, well.. that's what we do.. and thought about how stupid the whole conversation was.. like, honestly.. who comes up with whole elaborate plans that are not based on ANY sort of reality.. talk about insanity!! :)

Maybe that doesn't sound as funny as it did on the phone last night.. oh well.. maybe you just had to be there :) I have some more stuff to say.. but i'll leave it till tomorrow.. basically i met some of my neighbors.. so fun stuff to share there.. AND.. tomorrow night i'm going to the Bill Maher show.. i CANNOT CANNOT wait.. hopefully this cold will go away so that i can fully and totally enjoy it.. but if not.. screw that, it's Bill Maher baby!!!!!!!!!!

so i've been thinking..

There are times in all our lives, that i think.. we look back and wonder how things would have gone had a different decision been taken.. you know, those "crossroad" moments.. where you went one way.. but you know that there was another way you could have gone.. and not to say that you regret the road you went down, you just wonder what would have been waiting for you had you chosen the other option.. that's where i am right now..

There have been very clear moments in my past where i did just that.. and now.. maybe because i'm high on my whole dayquil / nyquil combo.. or maybe because there are times when you question where you are and how you got there.. whatever the case is.. my decisions have led me here.. to working in beverly hills.. living in brentwood.. being single and not minding it as much as i think i should.. i'm just being honest here :) Of course i want to meet a great guy and be swept off my feet and all that jazz.. but i think, that as you get older.. you maybe start realizing that it's not necessarily going to happen.. and i don't think that this is such a bad thing.. i think that it might be a part of growing up and maturing.. which, kind of sucks in itself.. but maybe this is what "older" people do.. you know.. i guess that this is the time when people start to settle for good enough.. something that i could never relate to or understand.. and if that ever makes sense to me.. well, then that will be a very sad day.. so i am growing up (slowly, i know).. but i still believe.. very very very deep down inside.. that extraordinary is possible..

what a weekend!

Hey there everyone.. Happy (belated) President's Day to all the US workers.. ahahahah.. for me, well.. just like i didn't have off on Martin Luther King Jr. day.. i don't have off today either.. but it's ok.. i mean.. what's one day right?? Who am i kidding.. one day makes sunday night so much more bearable.. speaking of which.. did you guys happen to catch Grey's Anatomy.. i sat there in shock.. and let me also add that on sunday night.. i saw the hottest guy i have ever seen on tv.. sorry Michael Vartan.. i think that he might be even hotter than you (wow, you see how i'm talking like he's reading this.. that's kind of sad.. ahahahahah).. anyway.. once i find out what his name is, i'll post a link.. just so you can see i am not exxagerating.. basically.. imagine leonardo di caprio.. but more masculine.. wow!!

Other than that.. my friend was here this weekend.. and what a weekend!! You'd think that me living so close to UCLA that i'd have a billion bars to choose from.. well, that's what i thought.. but nope, i couldn't have been more wrong.. there is ONE bar next to my house.. yes.. just one.. and check this out.. it's called Maloney's on campus.. so my visual.. was a bunch of college kids doing beer bongs.. and well... i don't think i was THAT off!! Ahahahaha.. so we did that on friday night.. met a couple of fun guys.. and then ended up going out with them on Saturday night as well.. we ended up hitting Sunset Strip, this bar called The Rainbow.. which supposedly is a cool place to go.. i mean.. it was fun.. very rock & roll.. and i guess there were some famous people there since others were getting autographs.. but i didn't recognize them.. oh well.. maybe next time :)

What else?? Oh yeah.. last night, i went out on a date.. to a super cute place here in Beverly Hills called Massimo.. they have great food.. and the atmosphere in general is pretty nice.. a bit on the fancy side.. but it's good.. the date was fun.. the guy was really nice.. and yeah.. it's weird to talk about that here since i am not at all sure where this is going.. so, once i know more, you'll know more.. he's off to Europe for a week or so.. and then off to a cruise with another group of friends.. basically he's busy busy busy.. which, i guess is a good thing :)

Ohhhhhhhh.. the highlight of my week!! I was bored last week, as you all know.. and submitted a request for tickets to the Bill Maher show.. and guess what?? I got them!!!!!!!! So, friday night.. at 6:30, that's where i'll be!! I'm sooooooo excited.. i think that it's going to be super fun!!!! I am taking the serbian along.. remember him?? Yeah, i haven't written about him in about forever.. but he's coming with me.. since well.. i have no idea where people stand politically and he's a foreigner.. so chances are.. he'll be on the same page as me.. that's what i'm going with at least :)

Other than that, i think that my brother is moving out today!! I need to call him to make sure.. but he's been apartment hunting in mexico city.. and it seems that him and his roomate found a place they both agreed on.. and have already signed all the paperwork.. i think that it's going to be a great year for him.. you know.. sometimes you just have to change things up.. just for the sake of it.. so he's doing that and it's going to be great! I'll be going down to mexico city the weekend of march 10th.. so i'll check out his place and let y'all know.. :)

Well.. that's it for me.. i have a cold.. so i'm feeling bla today.. hopefully my dayquil will kick in at some point.. but until then.. i'll just sniffle away.. :P

my first visitor!! :)

Hey everyone.. sooooo, it's official.. i am getting my first visitor today.. she'll be staying over the weekend and as i type this out.. she is crossing the border from Tijuana into San Diego by foot.. and yes, she's legal!! Ahahahahaha.. anyway, once she gets "here".. she's going to try and figure out which bus she needs to take and then i'll pick her up from the terminal.. so it's going to be fun trying to find her.. as short as i am (5'1") she is even shorter!! Ahahahahahah.. oh.. fun times are coming everyone! :)

We're not exactly sure as to what we'll be doing.. all i know is that 3rd street promenade is going to be the focal point on saturday.. i mean.. seriously.. there's so much to do and see there.. and did i mention shopping?? Yeah.. i will have to control myself since i am on a super tight budget until May, unless i can find myself a super hot "sugar" daddy.. any male readers in the LA area interested?? Ahahahahahah.. how sad this is becoming.. oh well :)

So yeah.. those are the plans.. tomorrow night we've got the belly dancing class.. this will be our 3rd time.. so i'm thinking that we'll be great soon!! What do you guys think?? :) Ahahahahahah.. mabye we'll put on a show for some lucky viewers.. you see.. i just keep upping my value in the singles market.. wow.. how classy.. ahahahaha :)

Ok.. well.. that's all for me.. i haven't really done much at work this week.. i guess i shouldn't complain.. so i won't.. just yet.. but if next week is like this.. i'm going to have some words.. that's all i am saying.. but right now.. i'll just enjoy the ride.. can't do more than that.. :)

The Cedar Revolt..

Here i go again with the politics.. i will not rant and rave or go on and on, i promise.. but for everyone that wants a really quick recap on what's been happening in Lebanon in the past year.. you just need to click right here.. see how easy i am making it for you?? The reason it's actually called the Cedar Revolt is because of the fact that the Lebanese flag is the only flag with a tree on it.. did you know that? And more specifically.. the tree is a cedar.. hence the Cedar Revolt which is a peaceful demonstration by Lebanese citizens to protest certain injustices in the government (like the president's illegal extension.. as an example).. talk about democracy baby!!! :) Now you will know something about a country that, well.. many people in southern california know nothing about.. including where it is geographically.. who knew that this blog would be educational as well as entertaining?? Ahahahahah.. ok, you know what.. let a single 28-year old dream, will you?? :)

So.. yeah.. i just wanted to write a bit about that.. and to let you all know that tonight is ladies' night at my place.. oh yeah.. a bunch of single twenty and thirty-somethings getting together to watch a total chick-flick and order chinese.. all we're missing are some facials and a pillow fight.. ahahahahah.. but i think that it will be great.. we're still not sure which movie we'll be watching.. but something tells me our options will include.. "never been kissed" (that's from my collection and i say this proudly!!".. "when harry met sally".. "sleepless in seattle".. "my big fat greek wedding".. the last four supposedly made it on a top 10 list for movies girls want to watch on valentine's.. and here is the #1 movie that men want to watch.. "wedding crashers"!! Ahahahahah.. please.. someone explain to me how that's a romantic comedy because i don't get it.. i love it.. talk about mars and venus! :)

Anyway.. that's the plan for tonight.. salsa was fun last night.. not as challenging as we would have liked but fun nonetheless.. and then this week i have a great friend visiting from Mexicooooooooo.. so i get to take her out on a town that i know NOTHING about.. but whatever.. how else do you find out what your neighborhood is about, right? :)

Well.. i'm off to get some work done.. yeah.. today i have some.. shocking no? So, hope your Valentine's Day is great.. memorable.. and just what you wanted.. and for the single people.. maybe next year?? Maybe even tomorrow.. you never know :)

Hellooooooo cyberspace!! I hope that everyone's well and that monday wasn't too difficult.. hey.. at least we're past the worst day of the week.. sunday night is a very close second.. :)

I did absolutely nothing in the office today.. but when i say nothing.. i mean it.. i caught up with some friends on messenger.. people i haven't talked to in ages!! So that was fun.. sent out a few e-mails.. booked my flight to Mexico City for next month.. i am going down there for my daddy-o's birthday.. last year i surprised him and his look of shock was priceless!! Ahahahahaha.. i walked in while they were having lunch.. it was great!! This year, i don't think that i can get away with a surprise again.. but i will do my best.. maybe writing about it on this blog is not the best idea.. hmmm.. :)

Tonight i am going to a salsa class.. yeah.. belly dancing on friday nights and salsa on mondays.. i think that it's a good combo.. and it seems that they have this deal where you pay for the month.. and can take as many dance classes as you like.. i think that it's a great idea.. considering most classes are $15 / class.. it makes sense to get a month-package.. that would pay itself off in less than 2 weeks with 3 classes / week.. and then i would be getting my cardio in.. it doesn't get better than that.. woohooooooo :) I am going to have a much better body by the end of this year.. mark my words readers.. and maybe i'll even post a before and after shot.. not yet though :P

Well, tomorrow is a big day.. for anyone that's from Lebanon or politically oriented, it's not going to be remembered solely as Valentine's Day. Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the ex-prime minister's assassination.. Rafik Hariri. I don't usually get into politics on this site.. only because i am not as well-versed as i believe i should be.. but it's going to be a national day of mourning in Lebanon and i can only say that i hope that his life did not just go to waste. Since last year at this time, the syrians have finally pulled out of Lebanon, which is great after over 25 years of occupation.. but there is still a lot that needs to be done and here's to hoping that it will not take another year of targeted killings to get a truly free Lebanon..

from home!!!

Yup yup.. so now i am blogging from home.. i guess that's the real sign of being settled in, wouldn't you say?? I guess i talk to myself a lot on this forum since i throw out a million questions and in general don't get answers.. ahahahaha.. oh well :)

So, last night i went to my belly dancing class.. which, let me just say is taught by some girl from the mid-west.. and yeah.. me being Lebanese and all.. it's embarassing!! Ahahahaha.. but whatever.. this was our second class.. so i think that we're getting better.. obviously we are nowhere near her level.. but we'll get there one day.. and then i'll turn into Shakira.. ahahaha.. well.. that's not my goal actually.. her dancing is a little too much for me.. i think that she can and totally does get away with it.. but i would NEVER.. not in a million years.. so i will stick to my low-key moves :) After that, we went to see a movie.. "Something New".. it was pretty funny.. but the best part of all was getting the tickets.. i get to the window and i'm all.. "2 for something new".. and the guy goes "something new??" with a look of total cluelesness.. so my friend points to that board that has all the movie titles written on it.. and goes.. "Something New".. so he looks.. and it finally dawns on him that this is a movie that is playing at the theatre he works at.. ahahahahaha.. how clueless is that?? So, of course.. while walking into the theatre, we were all making fun of other possibilities.. like.. you walk into a shoe store and ask for a pair of shoes.. and the person goes "SHOES??".. yeah buddy.. this is a SHOE STORE after all.. know what i'm trying to say?? :)

Anyway.. so that was our evening.. today i'll be going to Ikea in a few minutes.. and seeing if i can finish with my bedroom once and for all.. i'm basically there.. but it's that last 5% that's a total b*tch.. know what i mean?? So.. yeah.. that's the plan for today.. the salsa plan for the evening is no longer happening.. so i will come up with something else to do.. or maybe just chill out here.. that's always a great option :)

almost settled in..

Hey y'all!! Ok, so it's been a busy week.. but now home actually feels like home.. i got my internet and cable hooked up yesterday.. woohoooo!! But check this one out.. and yeah.. time for trash talk again.. for those of you living in Southern California.. you must have heard of this company Adelphia.. in like 3 months, they're going to be bought-out by Time Warner and THANK GOD for that.. anyway.. so i scheduled my appointment last week.. and the window they gave me was between 8:00 and 12:00.. so i woke up early to make sure i don't miss him.. 8 turned into 9.. into 10.. before i know it's 12.. so i call them.. and they're all.. oh yeah.. he's on his way.. at 1.. same story.. and by this point, i've missed an entire day of work almost.. not that i had much to do.. but still.. it's the whole principle.. finally he gets there.. at 2:15.. it took him over an hour to leave.. and yeah.. maybe he thought i'd pay him the whole amount because of the fact that he was flirting (barf on that by the way!!).. but it seems that if they arrive 1 minute late.. you get $20 back.. so.. we'll see how it goes when the bill arrives.. what a nightmare though!! And here's what the stats say.. when something goes great.. you tell like 4 people.. when you have a negative experience.. you tell 9.. so remember that!! :)

Other than that, work's been interesting.. still settling in and trying to figure out exactly what i'm supposed to be doing.. so we won't talk much about that for now :) But.. "d" and i did have an interesting conversation the other day.. for all the ladies.. have you noticed that when you don't call a guy back for a few days / weeks, they automatically assume that you died?? AHahhahaahhaah.. seriously.. how random and self-centered is that?? We, on the other hand.. make up all the excuses in the world ranging from he must be really busy.. something must have happened in his family.. he lost his cell phone.. but in our version.. he's always alive.. what's up with you guys out there.. is it sooooooo unbelievable that a girl is sometimes too busy to get back to you.. or maybe she's trying to teach you a lesson?? Ahahahahahah.. well, there goes my secret! :)

Just think about it.. i'm sure that you can all relate to that.. so it's thursday.. and S.A.D is coming up.. also known as Valentine's Day.. or Singles' Awareness Day as coined by Ryan from American Idol.. it seems that the roomate and i are going to have a bunch of single girls over to watch a movie and order chinese.. sounds like a great plan to me!! :) And as for this weekend.. we're all going salsa dancing.. how fun is that??? I can't wait! It's going to be fantabulous! :)

And yeah.. that's my news.. it's almost 80 degrees here today which is insane for feb. but this is southern california afterall.. :) Ok, well back to looking like i'm working for me.. hope you're all doing well and enjoying my random thought process..

1-800-move me

People.. ok.. before i say anything else.. i did NOT win any money in my superbowl bet.. i mean.. seriously i had numbers 8 and 9.. whoever wins with that??? But it's all good.. and now on to the move.. Let me preface this by saying that i have never seen such an efficient move in my life.. and if you have a story that compares.. bring it :) So.. we started on Friday night.. around 8:00.. we took a break at about 9:30.. went to the movies.. had some people over for pizza and wine (that's the grown up version).. and then got back to moving at about 12:30.. we finished the roomates stuff at around 3:00 am.. and by the time we got everyone a place to sleep and some covers.. it was 4:00.. we woke up at 8:45.. and were on the road down to san diego by 10:00.. yeah... i know it took us awhile to get started!! Got to the Uhaul place.. and yeah.. about them.. i'll have a whole new blog because i really don't have anything positive to say about them.. you know what, i'll just start the trash here.. so yeah.. i got like 8 phone calls from Uhaul starting on friday up to one hour before i was supposed to pick up the truck.. i mean.. originally they had told me to pick it up at one place.. and then they changed it and then they weren't sure they changed it.. whatever.. suffice it to say.. we eventually got it.. and if you have never driven a Uhaul before.. it's sooooooo not as fun as it looks.. oh my god.. talk about instability.. ours had bad breaks.. seriously.. like.. you hit the breaks and it goes to the left.. and then while you're driving all your force is to stop it from going to the right! Anyway.. got to San Diego.. we were 4 in total.. the roomate.. and one of her friends from Guatemala.. and another friend that i used to hang out with in SD last year (he's a guy).. anyway.. it took us about an hour to load the truck.. yeah.. and guys.. i have a MAJOR couch.. tv, tv stand.. coffee table.. it's not all fun and games..

So.. we got back on the road to LA.. right now it's about 3:00 pm.. on the way back are the three of us.. 3 girls.. two of which weigh less than 100 lbs (and no, i'm not one of them)... we got home.. let's say around 6:00 pm and were EXHAUSTED!!! We thought to ourselves.. there's no way in hell we can get the couch or some of the heavier items in here.. so let's just get the smaller ones (note to everyone.. when you do a one-way move.. uhaul doesn't give you a lock for the truck.. smart, no?).. so we started with the smaller items.. and then the tv stand.. and then the tv.. so we thought.. there's no point in hiring people for ONE couch.. we can do it!!! And people.. yes, it took us about 35 minutes.. but WE DID IT!!!!!!!!! And it's a sofa bed.. so when i say heavy.. i mean HEAVY!! By 11:30.. the living room was finished.. completely decorated and fixed up.. how impressive is that?? Yesterday we finished most of the kitchen.. and are now just working on the bedrooms.. let's hear a shout-out to the movers!!!!!!!!!! :)

So yeah.. i'm happy.. the worst part is done.. which is fantastic.. and now.. well.. i'll just unpack the boxes that are left and let you all know how it goes.. and yeah.. so that was great.. that was super.. that was phenomenal.. but last night.. i missed Grey's Anatomy.. and supposedly it was a kick-ass episode.. with a to-be-continued part next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So.. you know what this means right.. nounou's on a mission from now till sunday at 9:00 to watch yesterday's episode.. any and all suggestions on how to go about it are welcome and much appreciated!!!!!!!!!

superbowl sunday..

I've been up since a little before 6:00 and all i want to do right now is go to bed.. yeah.. it's 2:30 on a friday.. and me getting ANY real rest in the next few days is highly unlikely.. i moved all my stuff out of Sierra Madre today (thanks Dawn!!).. and it's currently weighing down my car in the parking lot.. i got the keys to "Lemon Tree".. so as soon as i can leave from work.. i'll be heading over there.. did i mention that i am driving down to san diego tomorrow to get the rest of my stuff?? I think that i haven't slept well this whole week stressing about that.. but you know.. this is how it goes for me.. i'm stressed stressed stressed.. and tomorrow will come and go and it'll be perfect.. see what i have to convince myself of?? Ahahahahaha :)

Anyway.. as you might have noticed.. i got a comment yesterday.. from Daddy-O himself.. he's a keeper.. my mom's been reading this regularly.. so hey hey Mama!! Anyway.. i don't really have much to say today but the reason i'm blogging is actually to let you guys know is about a few websites that are pretty funny.. i've already told you all about dooce.. which is just fantastic.. and "d" keeps sending me links from this site.. it's a concept that people just write in what they heard while walking or sitting on the train.. basically daily new york happenings.. it's called overheard in ny.. and here's the link.. remember the deal though.. i send you to the funny sites but you promise to come back here.. or no more links.. wow.. now i have to threaten my 3 readers.. it's sad!! :)

K.. well.. i'm off to spend an entirely insane and stressful weekend.. but i have the superbowl to look forward to now.. yeah i personally am not rooting for either team.. but am going to cheer for the seahawks because a) they've never been b) everyone and their mother is cheering for pittsburgh and most importantly c) i HATE the steelers.. yeah.. they knocked out the colts.. so i am sorry but that cannot and will not be forgiven by mrs. peyton manning herself (aka me).. but here's why i am excited about it. I went out to dinner last night and the place we went to had some football pool going.. so yeah.. i had to get in on it.. what am i betting on exactly.. no idea.. all i know is that i put in $20.00 and that i'll be getting my numbers on sunday.. it goes something like this.. they give you two numbers.. one for the steelers and another for the seahawks.. and then basically you just hope that at the end of each quarter.. or ANY quarter for that matter.. that your numbers come up.. it's $20.00 with the potential to win $2,000.. it's a bet i HAD to make.. so wish me luck!!!

So.. he saw his shadow.. for those of you living in the colder parts.. i guess you're going to need to bundle up for 6 additional weeks.. here in sunny LA.. well, it's in the 70s today.. and hitting the 80s tomorrow.. so screw you Punxsutawney (as "d" says.. he gave bill murray a hard time and now has to pay.. and brofo.. that's a SHOUT-OUT to you!! from your favorite sispiss) Aahahahahah.. yeah.. there's an actual site.. for all the doubters.. here you go

So.. again.. my apologies to the East Coasters... but then again.. there are benefits to being there.. the weather is obviously not one of them.. but trust me people.. it's not all sun and games over here.. ahahahahah.. well, sun.. yeah..

What else.. so today, i do the walk-through for the Lemon Tree apartment.. so that should be fun.. and well, i guess we should both be super anal since i am sure they will be once we move out and they are trying to determine how much of the HUGE deposit to give us back.. and tomorrow we're having a sleepover.. i know 2 of the people.. so that should be interesting to say the least.. and on sat. morning, it's going to be PURE hell.. we drive to san diego.. get my stuff out of storage.. drive back up here.. load.. unload.. basically.. it's going to TOTALLY suck.. but i am trying to convince myself that it will be great once i am only 15 minutes away from work and can get up past 8 and still get here on time.. seriously people.. how great is that??? Just as a reference.. i get up at 7 now.. am on the road by 7:30.. and don't get here till about 9:15.. how wrong is that?? So bring on the extra hours baby! :)

Ok.. back to work for me.. it's already thursday and i can't wait for this week to be over.. oh yeah.. readers, thanks for coming back!!
