Readers readers readers.. i now write you from my new job in beverly hills.. yes.. you read correctly.. i am seriously right in the middle of it all.. parallel to rodeo drive and just seconds away from the rich and famous.. speaking of which.. celebrity spot #1.. if you can even call him that.. is Kfed.. or however he spells his rap name.. basically Britney Spears' hubby.. ahhahahah.. i was walking down santa monica and there he was.. i'll keep y'all posted on my celebrity spots.. the "real" ones, at least :)
Other than that.. all's well and adjustments are coming right along.. for anyone that's ever lived in LA or heard anything about it.. the traffic is NO exxageration.. it took me over an hour and a half to get to work today.. mind you, i'm currently renting out a room in sierra madre... but still.. it's ridiculous.. i won't complain too much though since my situation is temporary and i will be living much closer to work in the very near future.. for anyone that is planning on visiting me :) (hint hint)
Regarding work.. it's good so far.. i am still not 100% sure as to what i am supposed to be doing.. all i know is that the company is in the denim jeans industry.. from designing to producing to marketing.. the people i work with are really nice and it's a very laid-back office environment.. something i need to get used to coming from my previous two jobs!! :) That's all i'm going to say about work.. i guess people shouldn't really "blog" about that.. case and point Heather from www.dooce.com got fired for just that!! Speaking of which.. her blog is HILARIOUS for anyone that is interested in a guaranteed laugh :) (should i really be giving out other blog addresses that are way funnier than mine?? hmmmmmmm.. ok.. how about this.. check hers out.. and then come back here.. deal?? Ok, good.. phew.. that was a close one!!)
Well.. it's back to "looking busy" for me.. i'm really good at that.. if only i could find a job that would require me to just look like i'm working.. ahahahahah.. kidding kidding kidding.. when it comes down to it.. i'd hire me in a second.. :)
