my mama :)

So my mom's surgery went well.. i spoke with her a few hours ago.. and though she sounded a bit groggy.. she's doing well.. woohooooooo.. that's a MAJOR relief.. and now she just has to recover.. and since we've all prepared ourselves for the worst.. i am sure that it won't be half as bad as that.. so go mama go! :)

Other than that, not much to share.. work's been crazy this entire week.. which is a good thing, in a way.. the guy situation is coming along.. i have my third date with "southern comfort" on sunday.. we're going to the Getty Center.. those of you in the LA area.. i'm sure you've been there.. and those of you that aren't from here.. here's a link, it'll be fun i'm sure.. :)

My wall is done.. completely and totally and i moved some stuff around in my room so it's basically ready to go.. i just need a few more purchases and i will be done.. woohoooooo.. i can't wait to be completely finished.. it's taking time, i know.. but whatever.. it's not easy buying things when you're not sure if you want to invest in it or just get "whatever" stuff.. i don't know where i'll be 2 years from now.. my work visa runs out in oct. 2007.. and unless i marry an american guy from now till then (chances of that are about .001%) who knows what will happen :)

So.. that's the story kids.. now i'm off to fedex.. my best friends who i see every single day.. ahahahahah.. and after that.. plans for tonight might include a salsa class in hollywood.. supposedly it's a good class.. so the roomie and i are going to go and check it out.. i have a cold again.. but have decided that if i don't give my cold ANY importance, it will go away.. of course i'm taking stuff for it.. but other than the seconds that i am swallowing pills or drinking orange juice.. i refuse to believe that i am sick.. again.. i just got over another cold a few weeks ago!!!
