monday...
So yeah.. it's monday.. and basically ewwww.. it's seriously the worst day of the week.. i mean.. sunday night competes with it.. but i think that monday wins out.. what do you think??
Anyway.. so i had a pretty busy weekend.. on saturday, i went apartment hunting with my potential roomate from like 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.. and basically, the one place that we absolutely fell in love with.. was wayyyyyyyy out of our price range.. but i guess that's how it always goes.. i think i need a "sugar daddy"!! Ahhahahaha.. kidding kidding, but seriously life would be way easier! :) We found a couple of good places.. and being Lebanese and all.. we want to see if we can talk them down.. just a little bit.. you know.. make us feel like we got ourselves a good deal and all :)
At night, it was one of my roomates' birthday party.. she turned the big 40.. and seriously.. she totally doesn't look it!! She's in great shape.. she's super fun and full of energy.. i like people like that.. so it was a really fun party.. dancing.. drinking.. meeting new people.. all good things :) And then last night, i FINALLY went to see Munich (there you go Suvam!).. and well, i am going to be a bit subjective.. being from the middle east and all.. but i personally thought it was a great movie!! I mean.. for those of you that know the story (and those of you that don't.. it's educational) of the Munich Olympic games, it's a must-see.. only because i feel that it gives the whole story a much more human approach.. from both the Palestinian viewpoint and the Israeli side as well.. and let me just say Eric Bana gets better in every movie he's in.. for all the ladies.. he's super hot.. even better than he was as Hector in Troy.. and for the men.. well, he's a great actor and really draws you into the movie.. and that's super important.. considering it's over 2 hours long!! But yeah.. for me, it was a fantastic movie.. and i have to applaud Spielberg for trying to portray the "reality" of what happened.. vs. what the media illustrated at that time.. the music.. the actors.. the storyline.. and an unforgettable ending.. 2 thumbs up!! :)
Well.. that's all for now, being employed and all means i DO need to get some work done :) I hope that you all had a great weekend and that your week is off to a great start.. as for me, i'm going to go back to cursing the person that invented excel.. seriously now.. i know that it's a great program or application or whatever it is.. and it simplifies life for MANY users.. but i am just not one of them.. especially when the files that i am meant to be working on are so disorganized, it's scary..
hating excel from beverly hills..
