weekend plans..

So, it's thursday.. my "work-week" is almost over.. yippeeeee!! I can't complain and say that it's been a tough one and that i really desperately need the weekend because that's just not the case.. the most strenuous, and i use that word very lightly, thing i've done.. was walk to kinko's.. just to give you all an idea.. but hey.. i get a check at the end of the month.. so i guess i can't start complaining just yet.. give me time though.. this might get real old, real fast..

About my weekend.. well.. here's what i've got planned so far.. for tomorrow night.. i'm still free.. so we'll see if anything comes up that's worth getting out for.. what i've realized about myself is that when i start working.. friday is no longer an option as a night to go out.. so basically i have thursday and saturday for partying.. if i feel like it.. and honestly.. isn't thursday night the best night to go out?? I totally think so.. which makes me want to plan something for tonight!! Hmm.. let's see if i know enough people in this place to make something happen.. my gut (and plain old reality) is saying no.. but whatever.. I have a friend that i used to take kickboxing classes in Lebanon with that's in town for a few more weeks.. so maybe i'll call both her and her husband up to see if they want to do something.. they're a great couple.. one of the very few couples that i know that i think is great.. seriously.. and they had the best wedding.. it was all water-themed.. so the pre-wedding party was on this kick-ass beach in Lebanon.. and they rode in on Jet skis wearing white.. so that was super cute.. and then the actual wedding was at a huge water park!! And no.. the rides WEREN'T open.. yeah.. i was disappointed too :)

So.. maybe i'll see them.. for Saturday, i have a full day of apartment-hunting with one of my really good friends (also met her in Lebanon but we became much better friends when i moved back to the states).. so far, she's got 5 appts set up.. talk about motivated!! :) So, yeah, i'm impressed with her.. we're not sure if we're going to find something we agree on.. but i think that we'll have a much better idea after we go out there and see what's renting for our price range.. wish us luck.. we did a "dry-run" the other night and found a 2 br/ 2 ba for $2600 and ONE parking space.. and the "nice" woman was nice enough to offer a discount of $100.00.. AHAHAHAHAH.. so we'll see what we find this time.. On Sat. night, we're having a party at the place where i'm staying right now.. we're celebrating one of the girls' birthday.. so it should be a fun assortment of people.. especially considering that in the 25 people coming, i know 3.. one of which is a HUGE SUPER BABY!! And readers.. i'll post pictures.. because you won't believe it till you see it.. he's the cutest, chubbiest baby i have ever seen.. this might be love.. hey "d".. this one's for you.. "we call it chunky loveeeeeeee" :)

And then on Sunday, i plan on seeing "D".. he's been mentioned in previous posts.. let's give him a different name since my best friend in nyc is also "d".. we'll call him "the european".. perfect :) So.. that's what my next few days are looking like.. i still need to see Munich.. maybe i'll do that tomorrow night.. yeah.. that's an idea.. so from now till the next time i write..
